Hi, have moved Watermill shower pump from 1st floor cylinder cupboard to floor below, at cust request, to cut down on noise. Pump works fine but every now and again starts up by itself.
Any suggestions for remedy welcome
Thanks

I am afraid you will need to explain the pump/cylinder/tank setup in a little more details so someone may be able to help you.
It may be a negative head setup with reverse flow or some secondary call for (hot or cold) water that activates the pump.
How long is it running for? If it is just a few seconds it may be loss of pressure in the system too.

when water 'bounce' is created back and forth the feed pipe. sometimes a check valve can solve it depending on the mi recomendation or only if it is allowed.
