Hi just new to this forum but hoping someone could help, my partner has a Worchester 28i combi bolier (installed 5ish years ago) since installation when your in the shower the hot water turns cold for a little while then back to hot, recently though the cold spells are becoming more frequent and are for longer, does anybody have any ideas??? Its driving me mad!
Thanks
Dawn

well often cold spots in showers are caused by incorrect modulation or over heating in boiler
Or the thermostatic cartridge closes down to much against the very hot water from the combi and the reduced flow is not enough to activate the boiler

However why have you waited 5 years to sort this problem, if you had brought subject up when boiler changed the issue could have been addressed then, now would have thought you are going to have to pay a plumber to identify the problem, however, what ever the problem a plumber is probably required to sort it out anyway

First check, I would add, is to make sure the system pressure is a 1/1.5 bar as low pressure will cause above problem to some extent also
