can someone tell me if my central heating pipes should get hot when running hot water only .(central heating off) or is the diapham in diverter valve is cracked.

well if u ran the hot water does a nr radiator get warm

the divertor valve is not closing off heating correctly,not due to diaghram,valve requires stripping and cleaning and pins lubricated

yes near radiators get warm .

well regards to cleaning and lubricating do i need new gaskets and what do you lubricate with?

all combis dump heat after hot water has run but should only be a minute at the most so yes first rad can get warm but shouldnt stay warm

if it does stay warm are we back at diverter valve
