Hi, Coming from the South East and a hard water area and now working in Cornwall, where the water is mainly soft, filling heating systems with soft water is a bad idea, no? how do I overcome this problem? Lots of inhibitor?

I think you are confusing yourself unnecessarily, what you are thinking of is when a manufacturer states not to use artificially softened water, water from the main in a soft water area is fine .

Not another refugee from London ! Moving to the glorious South West ! Will be able to take up wild pasty hunting, Just remember everything in Cornwall is done at a slower pace & you must learn to hate the English, Don't go to any strange meetings on the moors , Have you seen the film The Wicker Man ??
