Softened water in central htg system?

Hello all
Can we fill domestic htg systems from softners?
i havent spoke to any boiler/radiator manufacturers yet,but quite often i find softners installed which feed the main storage tank and then the header tank with soft water!

Can of worms, many previous posts I believe.

Worcester Bosch say no,as do many other manufacturers.

Ask Harvey water softeners and they say yes.

Get your self comfy and google it, MAY TAKE UP A BIT OF YOUR TIME THO!!!
