I've picked up the job of putting right the faults on a system installed last year. it's a Vaillant boiler with unvented cylinder, Vaillant weather comp and Vaillant solar thermal. The solar side is leaking in 3 places, one of which is the cylinder joint which needs remaking so the system will need draining and refilling. Will also need a report on the leakage as the customer is looking to recover costs from the original installer.
Anyone willing to take it on. I've got a solar thermal ticket but none of the equipment as I never normally deal with it. Apparently the original install spent an entire day filling the system as he didn't have a solar filling pump. All of the original instruction manuals are available.
So far I've spent 3 days putting right faults on the other side of it and am probably going to have to fit an accumulator as the incoming main only flows 16l/min and there are 3 bathrooms in the property. Customer is looking to run the place as a B&B.
