The light looks pretty handy save fartin about with cables. I looked at one similar it was 60 notes . So good deal

Ok Stafford there's a lamp in my cart on the website I'm so easily swayed. Can you tell me if it runs off mains or just off battery

Its battery, but I suppose you could have the mains charger plugged in and just turn it on. I imagine that it would take longer to charge that way?

Biscuits? Free tools?
You make a good point ray apologies. I've had a few days of having to use my local merchant for emergency stuff and am bitterly disappointed by their lack of baked goods  can we choose free tools. Need some new pipe slices :aureola:

No need to apologise.

You wouldn't want the pipe slice in the range of tools that we are giving away. None of their plumbing tools are usable by professional plumbers. Bod was kind enough to check out the pipeslices that they make but they were rubbish. Similarly, I don't suppose that a proper chippy would want their floorboard saw, but as an occasional tool for other trades its OK. And a rubber mallet is a rubber mallet when you are just using it to bang radiators. 🙂

been needing a hydraulic pressure test pump for ages but knew i would rarely use it so never bought one due to the price. I now have one. It cost me £100+ though as felt I needed to add more stuff to save on the postage

I just bought one of those lamps from CEF. Cost me nearly £70 with the VAT. Excellent little work light though...

I got my light and pressure tester the other day, probably never use the pressure tester but for £49 it was worth picking up.

the light is great, bright enough on low which they suggest will last for 6-7 hours. Recharge time is 5-6 hours. It does say that you shouldn't use it plugged in though unfortunately. Comes with a car charger though so...

I dunno... I suppose you can charge it in the car if you feel the need. Can't really think how else to describe that bit.

I've decided to buy no new tools for 6 months now unless absolutely essential to keep the business running. Going to see how much cash I can build up in the bank account by being frugal for 6 months! Sorry Ray!

I've just got the pressure tester, great price and will do for most jobs.

Really like look of the camera as well. Boys n there toys indeed.
