There aint any, who ever did this was either,1) drunk, 2) an idiot, 3) hadn't a clue on plumbing, 4) or all of the list, the main waste runs down into the ground where it meets a concrete pipe storm drain, and breaks into that, the old saying "out of sight, out of mind, comes to my mind with this "lash up"

I presume that the 50mm AAAV is to stop the waste pulling, and the curled over "open vent" is to stop the other trap being blown, note the swept "Tee", the wrong way round, the saddle repair, the use of couplings to extend the pipe

How about a few photos from your side of the water so that a "black museum" could be made up of who not to do the job ??

It has taken the Institute about 120 years to get Chartered status, and can only hope that it will not be another 100 odd years before the profession is recognised, for what it is a proper profession, and not a bunch of cowboys waving useless bits of paper around, and one of the ways we might be able to persuade our "masters" whether they be in Brussels, Paris, London, Berlin, or were ever they are to be found, is photographic evidence of bad, and dangerous practices
