hi all,
Have been working through the t4ts course since last december,I am paying monthly not a lump sum, didnt feel confident parting with the full course fee.have been 7 compulsory redundancies this year at my place of work...
The course is good up to module twelve, then you go on a two week practical..i am up to module 15 and they phoned me today saying they cant fit me in until the second week of september.i will probably start the course again fom module 1 as a form of revision..
they seem to be very busy so this will probably mean a shed full of plumbers with minimum qualifications in the not too distant future..
Modules 15 -23 are more aimed at becoming a self employed plumber.website design, marketing, networking, financial, sales etc etc,all useful if you want to go it alone, but i wanted to hopefully get a job.
I will receive my information about the two weeks practical soon, so if their is anything of any interest i will post on here..hope this helps anyone thinking of starting the course or have just started...

hi mate, im doing the t4ts course aswell. i was told 5-6 weeks to go on the practical after first 3 books, cant believe you have to wait till september. im nearly finished the third book and if they say to me i have to wait that long im going to go bonkers.

hello mate, yes it is a bit crap having to wait so long,,i might cancal the direct debit and see if they get me in any sooner....
ps have you done the water regs yet??

ive had a letter in saying i cant go for practical yet as i havent paid enough cash towards it yet to do the practical side, minimum £1000 before you can phone for your date for it.
So just got sent out booklet with module 13-24 to get on with just now, i suppose i'll have plenty of revision time before it.
Really looking forward to the practical side of things.

yeah, have gone over it but not in great detail in some parts, its a pain in the you know what. you dont actually do the water regs test until the second lot of practical anyway, so have loads of time to study. i phoned t4ts and they said whilst im waiting for the first practical i can work through the next modules, so wont really be missing out on much. what traing centre you going to??

hello, i will be attending leeds training centre, the second two weeks of september,,,,
