T4ts

Hello all,
I have recently stumbled upon this forum after starting T4TS Plumbing course,and have found many of the posted threads about T4TS and general plumbing very useful,I am only 2 weeks in and just started module 3,And at 39yrs am still getting used to learning from manuals again.
I would have loved to go through college to train but with a family,full time job and a mortgage to pay this is the only way i could ever attempt to retrain for another career.
I look forward to any replies or feedback Ref-T4TS or Plumbing in general,have a nice day!

i am also doing this t4ts course! i am about to do my practical assesments week 1 and 2! ignore what some people say about courses like this coz i think the knowledge from this course is excellent! i am only oon module 16 and have already gained enough knowledge and confidence to fit bathrooms and complete minor repairs and maintenance! good luck m8

You would probably be better off at your local college one day a week or evening classes and if you are in low income ( less than 15K) the college pays, worked for me Iwas 45, and I wasnt lining a private firms pockets.

Hi oldplumber,
I did have a look at the college route,but as i work rotating shifts i could not commit to an inflexable timetable,The T4TS course lets me fit the training around my work/home life,I am time rich,but it has to be a varied study/learning schedule.
