Bad leak?I hate denzo. Nothing really apart from a swap . Slight leak i usually try twisting the collar (non multikwik) round so it catches a decent bit of seal or LSX.
How longs it gotta last.? Might be easier just to swap it mate unless it's grief and compode down in boxing, in a dark cupboard, in a cellar behind a locked door ;-)

No idea tbh but sounds like it's gonna be a total Bodge she said a plumber came round before but said some plumbers tape will do it but he's not been back lol he cant mean ptfe unless it's maybe a flush pipe not actual waste pipe so all I could think he meant was denso?

Or, if you've the room, wrap some self amalgamating tape round the joint. Got me out of a few holes in the middle of the night this stuff has!

do you mean round the whole thing, round the outside?

If it is from the pan connector fitting to pan spigot & the person doesn't want to pay for a proper job, or the pan has been tiled into the floor or just a massive job to remove, then I would say use silicone or preferably Tec 7 sealant.
I just stick a flat blade screwdriver in between the joint & spigot & clean & dry right round it all & push the nozzle in & fill the joint well while pulling the screwdriver blade in front of it. Has worked for me & only half hour job.

I'm just gonna say expanding foam as I cannot think of anything worse than a bodge on a loo. Pubes , urine, that horrid brown scum of fittings the aroma and as u try and reach leak your face touched the warm seat!
