Testing water pressure

So,

What do you all carry in your kit for testing water pressure? Ive got a fitment for w/machine valves, and some piece of rubbish that is supposed to fit on a tap spout. When neither of these will do how do you go about it?

Does that method only work in your garden or is it universal?!

Finger over tap. I can hold back 2 bar! Good enough or a quick test. but both flow and pressure are very much related. And need to be measured together.

Pretty amazing results when your in a row of houses on a steep hill ( house at bottom of hill ! )
