Hi,

After some advice on here I bought a honeywell CM927 thermostat. Now I'm just getting my ducks in a row before installing it this weekend and have read on here that the radiator in that room should be without a TRV or it should be turned up to full.

I plan on installing the thermostat at the bottom of the stairs, which lead into the dining room. I have two radiators in that room, one on the far wall and one on the near wall under the banisters across the stairs from the thermostat.

My question is should both radiators have the TRV's at max or only the one closest to the thermostat?

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,
Pedro

Try both ways and see which gives the best results. You could also try setting both to max.

As the CM927 is wireless, you can put it anywhere you like in the room, depending on furniture etc. So experiment with location as well. You need to make sure the other rooms in the house are getting up to temperature before the room stat turns the boiler off.

Cheers for your help doitmyself. All up and running now.

Thanks
