Thermostatic mixer bath taps

Just replaced taps on bath so kids can get a shower in bath as well ,worked fine to started with then water wasn't hot so took them back and exchanged them ,now these are doing same any ideas anybody ?

What type of system do you have ? Eg combi cylinder etc

Is cold from a tank or mains

The water comes direct from mains ,the hot on the tap ip in bathroom is red hot hot so there's no problem with the hot if that helps

Yes it may well.

Is it a gravity fed cylinder or a mains pressure unvented cylinder?

No ,it's a oil run boiler if that helps

was your exsisting bath taps 2 seporate taps (a hot tap and cold tap out of 2 spouts?)

Is your new tap a bridge tap ie a single spout out the middle?

if you turn the hot tap on only are you not getting any water all all or just cold water?

if you hold you hand over the end of any hot tap and turn on the water, can you hold back the water with you hand or does it just spray out?
