Hi,

I've just ordered a thermostatic mixer tap for the bath: [DLMURL="http://www.taps.co.uk/applogic/productinline/5965/alpha_basin_taps_&_thermostatic_mixer_pack.html"]Alpha Basin Taps & Thermostatic Mixer Pack[/DLMURL]

I want this to simply replace the existing tap and have just suddenly thought that presumably on the thermostatic mixer the hot and cold need to be a particular way around. My hot tap is on the right is it possible this mixer will require plumbing the hot on the left?

Thanks

Yes you will have to install as to manufacturer's instructions and will require the hot on left. Also remember to fit check valves on the supply pipes, if not already fitted, to conform with Water Regs.
