Thermostatic shower valve, Id and help needed

Hi all
I have the attached shower valve, I think I need to replace the cartridge , however I cannot find the make and was wondering if anyone recognises it, see attached. Also does anyone have any ideas how to remove the plastic collar , it is not budging and no obvious grub screws etc...any tips appreciated,
