I want buy a concealed 3 way thermostatic valve for my bathroom. I'd like one which I can run cold from only without mixing in any hot water. The few models I've looked at state temp ranges of around 20-50 centigrade. Does anybody have any recommendations for valves with will let me run cold only as well as thermostatically controlled temp? Thanks for any suggestions.

tmv = thermostatic mixing valve so will always mix water to temp set on it this is mostly used as anti scalding device in public areas
what you need is a thermostatic shower which will run both pure hot or cold but it would need to be accesable to adjust it
maybe if you explained what your trying odo we could help more

I'm looking for a valve for domestic use I can use to supply either a fixed shower, a free shower and a spout for filling up a bath. For most occasions I'd like a thermostatic mix so I can set the temp. However occasionally I'll have a cold bath or shower. I've seen this manual shower valve, LUINO LUINO STBS539 Basin Mixer With Clicker Waste, which looks like it would do the job albeit without the thermostatic control.
What I'd like is a 3 way thermostatic valve on a single panel which will also run just cold. If these don't exist then I want a 3 way manual valve on a single panel. The swisstaps valve is the only 3 way manual value I've seen so any other suggestions are much welcome.

Only other way would be to put a tmv to the hot side of you mixer tap, so full hot would be mixed and cold, just cold. ... may be cheaper

I think you are confusing people by saying thermostatic mixing valve as these are usually devices which attach under the hot taps to mix cold in to a set temperature. What you are looking for sounds like a thermostatic shower / bath filler valve. You can of course get the full range from cold to hot with them.
