Hi, I put this adjustable joint into a WC waste that I was extending into the pantry...

But it seems to be leaking from the adjustable joints.

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them and does or does not recommend them?

(Will be a pain in the a** to change it - but its going to under a new raised floor so better to do it now then later).

Never used or even seen them, but the 2 collars on the middle section look like they may be designed to tighten the joint when set ??

Yes, they are tighten when in position - with a thin O-ring around the adjustable joints..

Not sure I understand the different colours (one being underground perhaps) and difference in price when they must be same materials?

The very skinny O-ring surely can't be maintenance free and water tight? I've noticed these o-ring fittings can loose their elasticity and water-tightness over time with dirt - and then need maintenance - a bad idea if this joint would be under a new floor and inaccessible?
