We are having an extension built and I will be fitting the sanitary ware.

I have attached a picture of the downstairs loo and the soil pipe can be seen coming up through the floor (covered in black tape).

I need to fit both a toilet and a basin into this area, the toilet slightly to the right of the soil pipe and the basin over to the left against the LH wall.

I cannot find an appropriate fitting to enable me to fit both a toilet and a 32mm waste into the same fitting and so connecting it to the floor. I.e I cannot find a multikwik or other type pan connector that will allow a 32mm boss to be fitted.

Does anyone have a solution for me?

Thanks

Mike

Hi, Why not put a bit of stud work and plaster board 6" from back wall and say 3' high, forming a shelf and void/ service duct to hide and make pipe work easy. A branch on to that which is there a stub stack and branch in the side with basin waste and access cap on top. Good luck

use a spigot branch and use the boss on the side with a street elbowstraight in you may have to chop out a bit of the wall if the drain is tight against the wall

Hi mate I would use a wc connector including pipe boss to fit maybe a variation of messing around with some combos to get it just right . This page will show most of what you will need.

Toolstation > Plumbing > Pan Connectors

Hope this helps.

I've been looking for one of these:

Toolstation > Plumbing > Pan Connectors > WC Connector Inc Pipe Boss

and your link pointed me to it, and I've been going through the blimmin toolstation catalogue.... time to go to Specsavers..

That'll do nicely, because the pan is going to be to one side of the actual soil pipe I'll probably put the pan connector well down the soil pipe and add another short 90 degree to get the offset.

That'll let me connect a McAlpine connector straight onto it.

Anyway, thanks for that, made my day.

This will be plan B, never throught of that!!

I'll need to measure how much space there is for the basin between the back wall and window (on LH side).

Brilliant, I now have 2 solutions.

Thanks

Mike
