Hi Friends

Got a toilet that flushes and fills perfectly but it does not flush waste away.

I'm perplexed .

No blockage, no back filling.

Any thoughts?

The flush is powerful.

Cheers

thick paper, modern bog low water usage equates to lots of floaters Im afraid

last time a had this a rouge cc bolt had fallen down the cistern outlet and was blocking the right side of the flushways in the pan causing a one sided whirpool effect and a whirpool is a rubbish flush.

What u wanna do is:

Increase the flush to 8litres, once you flush it grab your plunger, plunge 4 times then if it doesnt still go, grab your mash hammer and SMASH SMASH SMASH!!! HULK SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡

.... Have i made myself clear? :| ....

Hi rocketman - I have found that some of these 'designer' bathroom suites are not
really fit for purpose. Fitted one recently on one of our holiday lets - looks good.

But it does not keep itself clean after a dump - new bog brush after every let ! the
basin looks great but fancy taps with a waterway pourer are hell to keep clean and
will mould up I expect in the closed season .

Is the orifice to the u trap quite small ? if so take it back to supplier as 'not fit for purpose'

There used to be standards for sanitary ware I am not sure there are now and if there are are
they policed - Wras are really quite a powerless organisation when suppliers dont play the game
