Hi

We need a new shower room. I have no idea what to look for in terms of what brand / features to look for. The house is 1777 and we are keeping the bath as it is cast iron (boxed in - it doesn't have nice feet). We intend the shower to run off the boiler. The chap that is doing the central heating gets his stuff from cityplumbing and recommended Eastbrook products? When my Mum had her en suite done she had Twyford stuff which seemed to represent good value. Her bathroom is Vileroy & Bosch which I don't think we can afford 🙁

We had also been thinking about the walk in shower enclosure things. I was keen (apart from the price!) but then noticed on the Matki products they suggest that you have the space outside the enclosure tiled (which we don't want) due to the potential for water to splash outside the enclosure which kind of defeated the purpose.

Any advice / top tips would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Mark
