Hi all. I'm just wondering if different people have a different method for hanging a towel rad to 1st fix vertical pipework?
Do you all just drop the rad onto the pipes and try and hold it in place whilst levelling everything up? Or if there's play in the pipe(up&down) do you hang it by measuring it all up and levelling and cut pipe to size? I'm curious as to how you all cope with the taller radiators compared to the small ones.

I hang it all level and square with the centres in the right place. Then make in the valves and cut the copper to correct length. Then just drop it on to the pipes then fixings and tighten up. Usually gives me the dog a little though as can be a bit difficult sometimes.

If its going onto old pipe work, I measure everything up, takes a lillte longer with all the messing around, and make sure theres some play in the pipe and try to get it spot on
