hi all, would like some help if possible plz.
had a guy who called out today from tradesgateway for there plumbing course with is done at home and at one of there centers for practical work which he said would provide nvq level 2 and more, but the course is very expensive and was trying to get as much information before I sign up for anything thanks for any info

Be very careful before parting with your money.
They make it sound wonderful and the best thing since sliced bread.
Why do you want a level 2.

Is it a full nvq or just a gnvq (tech cert)

Look at a provider like Kier construction.

Yes they made sound really good saying that I'd be able to be self employed by the and of the courses and how good there training is and it's all done around my current job, but felt I was being conned a bit

Try a quick search on here. I don't know anything about them personally but they seem to pop on here pretty often.

I'd be wary of any course which promises the ability to be fully qualified and self employed off the back of a home study and classroom based course. The real world is very different to a training center.

You dont need a level 2 to be self employed.
If your just doing bathrooms or similar I wouldn't bother.
Truly youd be throwing tour money away.
Just operate within your comfort zone
