Hi there,

I am a builder (with some plumbing experience) looking to change direction. I would like to do my OFTEC, HETAS and GAS SAFE and become an AGA/Rayburn engineer. It is difficult to gain experience in this field as many engineers play their cards close to their chest.

AGA themselves told me that they would not train new entrants to the industry at their training school "to protect AGA distributors who invest thousands into showrooms" This is not helpful!

I would be willing to work for low wage to gain experience. I have transport and own tools.

I live in Cambridgeshire.

If anyone can help, even if only for a few days/week I would be very much indebted
