Hi.
hope some one can advise, i have a trianco solid fuel (antrohcite) boiler. about 20 years old
there is water in the cinder tray at the bottom at first i thought it was rain coming down the chiminey but upon investigating this it could not be. could it be possible i have a leak inside the boiler ?????.
any advice would be great is the boiler beyond repair how much to repair etc.
i;m a wood butcher as you heating engineers would say so i have a little knowledge.

thank you its worth a try for the sake of £25 if not then a new system might be called for
Again thanks for your help

Leak sealer is only for very small leaks but you could try but you will need a new boiler in long run

Think of it not as a repair but as only as giving you some breathing space to plan and budget for a new boiler.

I know Trianco went bust last year but I suspect that there back up and running so you could try them for a new heat exchanger Trianco
