I want to change my rad valves to TRV. I understand that i dont put one on the rad where the room stat is does this rule out the need for a bypass valve as that rad will be always be open, Also what make of TRV would you guys reccomend

Hi. Personally i would put on every rad. The new tvr in the room where the room stat is fitted can be turn full on. How ever mixing the two forms of control can give negative results, if the mission is to be more efficient. You may find a by-pass around the boiler area that allows circulation through the pump if all the trv. are shut. Good Luck
