Turbomax plus

Hi guys I hope someone can help me out here, I bought a new dhw hex for a 828e, went to the job today and took off the old one only to find the new hex did not fit it was two short, I no there are different hex for the different types of turbomax plus, but I had the correct GC no and boiler model, I've just been looking on the net and they are all coming up with the same part number as the one I ordered 065131, is it possible they may have put the wrong hex in the wrong box, I bought it from ezparts, did anyone else ever have this problem, thanks frank.

typical of vaillant i'm afraid, they change parts but still leave same gc number, for instance half the turbomaxes have siemens gas valves and half honeywell

from experiance its best to take a mental note of what the part looks like and check it matches when you collect it at the merchants

that said theres 2 types of plate heat exchanger, one shaped like a coffin and one more your standard oblong and both from memory were interchangeable

often the merchants will try and sell you a glow worm part as mostly they fit vaillant, however not always
