Got called to a job where the customer said they think the water pressure from their unvented has got worse recently.

No discharge from Tundish, outlet of cylinder is all in 22mm that i can see.

The wife who i spoke to said she couldn't notice a change and was ok with it but her husband who wasn't in is the one who has been complaining.

What could cause this?

The pressure didn't seem too bad to me, not amazing but i dont know what it was like before.

Cold pressure is fine.

Could it be the combi valve is causing issues?

Thanks

yes but worst affected is the shower on the top floor.

3 floor house, cylinder on middle level.

Always a tricky one these, one complains, one doesn't. First thing i would do is check the filter in the ICS , and then the shower filter maybe.
If the pressure to the house has altered there is sweet f all you can do about that.

Stopcock on road - check it is full on. Unlikely, but you never know.
Think about possible leak on mains below ground either outside the property, on the road, or in the people's property. If it was a bad leak, then there would be a big flow and pressure drop. Perhaps turn the stopcock in the house off and listen when the house is silent to see if you hear any water noise transmitting through the mains from outside leak.
Stopcock or any other valves on mains to unvented unit - check them also.

Combination valve - check it that filters clear.
Only things left are blocked taps airators, filters really.

Yes the wife said she thought it was all fine, I said it seems fine to me too.

Pretty much said it all seems fine so i'm not going to touch it in case it comes back to bite me. She was happy with that. I said if it is an issue then call us back and we will investigate further. With the husband there i might have gone further but can guarantee i'd be called back next week for an actual fault.

Thanks for all the replies.
