Further to my previous post on this subject I decided to put one together, as I'm on with three houss that can't get mains gas for another 2 months.
builder has agreed to pay 50% of the cost. Told him £750 but all in,it's about £600.
its a 6kw electric boiler. with integral stat, flow switch and pump. Simply connected to a 18l litre vessel an filling loop.
got Electritian to fit an isolator to feed the heater and a separate double socket for connecting to manifold. Hu fitted the 10mm cable with a large male/female socket.
at the moment is wired with 100 cable. But it's getting changed to 6mm flex.
got it connected to the first house today. Will see how it copes.
