Hi,

Wonder if you can help, I’ve recently moved into a new house and have the above boiler installed.

The hot water is fine, but I can’t seem to get the radiators to work.

When I press the radiator dial to ‘on’ (as opposed to off or timer) the boiler does fire up, and it ‘sounds’ like it’s working…..and the boiler faceplate even gets warm/hot but the radiators are stone cold.

I do have the dials on the individual radiator dials turned up to 3 or 4 etc.

The previous owner said that the boiler can be temperamental in summer (is that possible?) and that it ‘always works in winter’ ?

I have tried lowering the water pressure on the boiler, and experimenting with the radiator temperature on the boiler (I think that’s what it’s called?).

The dark radiator symbol does appear on the display so it’s like the boiler thinks things are ok.

There is a C displayed on the display though? Is that normal? Is this something to do with anticycling? Can’t seem to work out what that is/means.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
oliver

I think you need a Gas safe engineer Oliver ... By the way, do you have a room thermostat and is it turned up fully? Most likely guess would be a sticking diverter?

you should have about 7 pipes coming out of a combi boiler

"Heating Flow, Heating Return, Hot Water, Cold Main, Gas, Condensate, Blow Off" NOT IN THAT ORDER THOUGH
