hi, another vaillant turbomax,

i changed the diverter and secondary heat exchanger, all has been fine but got a call today from the customer saying the hot water gets REALLY steaming hot.

is there a temp control i can turn down?

As said ,adjustment on front, maybe not used to having the correct operation of hot water for a while, now repaired, did not realise what hot water they could have always had !!

i know on a a normal system with a cylinder the cylinder stat has to be set at 60 deg, whats the max for a combi? is it a worry if it 70 or poss even 80 deg?

i know there is a dial on the front, but even set at 2, it is almost too hot to touch, and if its on 5, its steaming hot. i turned the dial up to 9 (the max, and the temp guage started reading 70 deg, and prob would of gone up even more if i had left it on
