Vaillant Water Heater

Hi All,
Had a call to a very old Vaillant water heater. Fires up lovely but no hot water coming through hot tap it feeds. Will get hot if you lower flow to a dribble. Could it be heat exchanger furred up? Pressure is good through heater to tap. Model is MAG SINE 250/7 ATZFW:H
Any info gratefully taken

i think you will find this has not just happened overnight and is probably scaled up as you say, good luck

you can get a replacement water heater for about £340 which could be an option unless you have a power flushing machine

try a diaphragm, even check slow ignition device before H/E
