anyone had problems with 831 eco tec combi,fitted 3 pumps in 2 years.
was told at partcentre that vaillant unofficially have had promblems.has put me right off fitting them,going to try veisssem

As far as I recall vaillant and grunfoss had economical issues with eachother (tail wanting to wag the dog), vaillant started using another manufacturer(wilo), some problems appeared, all the ones I knew of were rectified under warranty. In 08 I was told all is fine again, dog and tail are back in unison. Vaillant is my manufacturer of choice, the 831 the most common I fit, have never considered leaving nor have I had reason to.

You must have got through to the worcester technical assistant with the big boobs and leather domatrix gear on

I usually get through to burt,with new hips from the nhs ,last month and a loose blander,only costs me £1.12 for 20mins,could get it down to 52p if the bugger did not have that stutter 😀

U got through to glow worm, it took me an hour on hold before the muppet told me it was the pcb. before i ordered it i went back to the combi and found a tiny split in the pipe to the aps, shortened pipe and saved £150 plus vat. moral to this tale, don't fit gloworms or sauniers!!!!
Also don't work late on a friday when your tired, cos you miss the obvious
