When you say jig do you mean the template for wall fixing, or a pre plumbing valve set jig.
The Vaillants that I have fitted have only come with a hanging bracket and not those poxy pre plumb thingys, where you have to juggle the washers on whilst hanging the boiler.
This is why I prefer to fit the Vaillants as it is less frustrating.

nothing wrong with jigs in a tight space, get all your pipes connected and then pop in a boiler, simplessssssssssssssss, but takes a little practice, and you dont bang your head on the boiler putting in the pipes
 
Your right there Oldplumber, I often like to jig about in a tight space!!!

yes mate the pre plumbing jig like what the worcesters come with but question answered cheers
