Verifying engineer

Just wanted to double check as I'm giving a guy a trial period. His qualifications are through citb and they look different to all the ones I've seen before.

I assume that's just a different training provider.

It says he has cenwat and cp1 etc and I asked if he was gas safe to which he said no but I just need to register him with my company.

Does that sound right?

All the other employees I have dealt with have all been on the gas safe register?
