Hi

Not too much info to go on but here are some thoughts:

1Do you notice any water under the boiler or on a ceilings?

Hi

Sorry the post returned before I could finish:

1 Do you notice any water on the ceilings?

2 If you left the boiler on and turned all the rads off does the pressure keep going up and up until you get water from the safety blow off (this would indicate a faulty expansion vessel).

3 If the pressure goes down over the course of a week you could tie a bag to the safety blow off to see if theres any water coming out over the course of time.

Hi

it seems everytime I hit tab on the keyboard it posts the message!!!! but i'll continue:

5 You could isolate the boiler heating valves and see if the pressure drops now, this would highlight if its the boiler or the system.

6 You coiuld lift the boards and check for leaks or put some leak sealer into the system if monies tight.

7 I'd definately take the cover off the boiler and check the heat exchanger as it could be leaking and drying up with the heat so you'd never notice any water.

8 An obscure one I had once was a pressurised vokera designed for a mains fed system installed in a small village house fed from a water tower so the pressure would never go above a bar which started the confusion, but with the water leaks it had also kept us confused over the pressure problems.

Hope this helps a little

Phil
