vokera compact 25 HE condensate issue

I'm fairly puzzled by this one chaps, it's the compact with the secondary heat exchanger that the fan blows through. It seems that condensate is running down passed the fan in in to the bottom of the burner chamber.. initial brief investigation seems to be pretty clear combustion air path and flue plumes pretty good.
Anyone had anything similar?

It's the bloody conny trap, the silly wee ball in it gets stuck grrrrr
