Vokera Linea 24.Standard eff.No heating but hot water.

No heating but hot water ok.no external controls for boiler just thermostat on ch on the boiler.The link is still in place but wont fire up.what should the reading be on the thermistor?the one on the main heat exchanger?cheers guys.

if you had a primary thermistor fault you would get 07 showing on the digital display have you recently moved the selector switch from hw to central heating position on the selector switch it is a common fault for the plastic trimmer between the switch and pcb to break easy way to check is turn the switch to the off position display should go blank if it does not the trimmer is broken

Hey.When i turn the selector in the middle to the centre it does go off.I moved the boiler(much to my disagrement)for a customer and it was working ok before hand!!I had my multimeter out and took the reading on the thermister in the main heat-exchanger and the readings didnt seem quite right?I will have a go at changing the thermister and over heat stats first,but then after that what fault could i be looking at??? not the dreaded PCB...surely!cheers

It was the link in the board that was in the wrong place!! moved it over and it fired up.it had had an external time clock fitted which had been removed!!!!
