Could someone please tell me how you would go about becoming an installer for warmfront? tried their website but not much info on there

having been in behind warm front installs, i would think they dont pay that well, that or all the installers are competing with bg for great examples of how not to do it

I think, tho I'm not sure, that Eaga do all the Warmfront installation. If not then a massive part of it so you want to be contacting them. Iguana (who I think Eaga own anyway) do loads of it, they have some direct blokes and the rest they seem to sub out to other medium companies and smaller firms locally probably too.

I hear the margins for subbies are tight. A lot of surface run pipework etc.

I think the only thing left is the £300 grant. Out of this you pay £48 admin. Its not worth it
I think EAGA set off administering the scheme and then set up there own installers. Guess who gets the work.

Iguana get a third of all grants they are owned by Eaga as well as the insulation companies ............ the work might dry up due to Gov cut backs..

I wouldnt soil your cv by working for them.

Not seen a good install yet!

they seem to spend more time putting up elf n saftey notices than they do on the instal last one i went to had flow and return reversed making a hell of a racket through the existing motorised valves
