Hi people!

Quick question. I hae moved my washing machine into the room next to the kitchen. I have drill a core into the wall and run the infeed and waste hose from the machine to under the sink but the machine struggles to drain. Have only run it a few times and at times it struggles/won't drain. I have a 2.5 and 1.5 meter waste hose connected together to reach, it is all level until the sink trip where I hae cable tied it up to create a u bend. Is this too long for the machine pump to push the water and if so is there another, not too difficult, way of doing it? Cheers 🙂

Is this the 1" hose you usually get off the machine? Could be 4m is too much back pressure for the pump. Suggest extending the waste from under the sink in 40mm with a trap and stub stack beside the machine (done the same with mine when I moved it into another room) so all the pump has to do is lift it about 3ft into the stack.
