Water coming from vent pipe in to f and e

Hi guys went to a job about a month ago, 2 port was not working so replaced. Customer said occasionally the overflow drips from the f and e, I checked it ball valve is fine. Water was coming from the vent pipe, ran the heating to confirm and it started happening.

i turned the pump speed down to 2, it seemed fine. A month later I get a phone call saying its still dripping.

whats the most likely cause? Blocked cold feed? What else can I check?

As you have said it could be a blocked cold feed. Stick a magnet on it and see. Does the vent rise 450mm above f&e

Isolate the cylinder.
