i had to remove a water meter to lag the incoming water supply, above ground level, within a cavity, should have been done when it was installed, but wasn't...?anyways when i replaced the meter i'd changed the arrangement and as a result i had to shorten the 15mm copper pipe so it would fit on the meter the part were you insert your copper pipe is quite deep so i made sure on both sides that the pipe was fully inserted, big mistake as it reduced the flow to nothing and into the bargain was rotating the meters dial, giving the impression a tap was running, after 20min messing about thinking i had an air lock i returned to meter un done the connections and checked i had pressure, when putting back together i pulled the pipe out of the meter and inserted it only a little bit and it worked, learning curve or faulty meter..????
