Think you will find more people retro fitting grey water and rainwater harvesting when this happens.... big savings to be made for flushing toilets... dont fancy rainwater for the washing machine much...

looks like il be p***ing in the garden then!

I spoke to my Water Provider, South Staffs, about 2/3 months ago about a water meter and they said it can be fitted for free if I want one but once it's there it stays there

It is just a matter of time though ntil everyone has one
 
If you fit a water meter and introduce rainwater collecting or greywater recycling you save twice.

1. Water consumed at the meter but 2. The waste water element of your bill is charged as a percentage of water consumed at the meter. ie they dont/cant meter how much poo etc you produce.
