Quick question guys. Got a customer with low working pressure on their water main. 4 bar standing, 0.5 bar working. It's got a 30kw combi installed on a half inch iron main...
I've checked for blockages/ turned down stop cocks.
What sort of working pressure will the water board guarantee (is it 1 bar or is that standing)

second question
what size connections are on the water meters? Plus we are allowed to work on them after the outlet aren't we.

You will have to ask the board to come and check at the boundary what you have. If it's on the property side your customer will either have to pay for a new main or you could consider a pump on the mains.

If it's 1/2" iron, the chances are its furred up inside.

Water board will check the boundary and install a new stoptap as a matter if course (at least YW do) but the problem sounds like it will be after.
