Water Pressure - appropriate tap

I am considering the purchase of a floor standing monoblock bath filler (thermostatic mixer) which has a requirement for a minimum water pressure of 2 bar and a flow rate of 12 litres per minute (Hudson Reed PN322).

I have a combi boiler which states in the specs 22 litres/minutes flow rate on DHW.

The mains pressure has not been measured with a gauge but I can fill 10 litres in 25 seconds from the kitchen cold water tap.

This seems to suggest I could use this tap successfully.

Does anyone foresee any problems?

pressure and flow rate are not the same thing you can have low pressure and high flow rate,
so you need to check the pressure in the bathroom before fitting the tap, becuase it wont work properly
if the pressure is below 2 bar, in fact it needs to be above 2 bar really.

Ask the plumber who is going to install your new tap to measure your water pressure and flow rate with a water pressure gauge and flow rate cup respectively.

Worth noting that I've never come across a floor mounted tap that didn't become a problem eventually. Don't buy cheap or you will regret it.

Noted, hopefully the quality of Hudson Reed is good as I have heard. The price is certainly not cheap (around 490 retail)
