Water pressure meter

Can anyone recommend a water pressure meter,basically to measure my cold water mains.Screwfix have one at £12 quid has anyone tried this and what do you think??????

My question is why do you want one ? I suspect you are checking out a combi boiler performance
if so water volume is what is really at issue.

The screwfix one is fine, just attach it to a washing machine valve. If like centralheatking suggests you are trying to work out flow rates, you need to buy a flow cup Flow Measure Cup

No I am just wanting to check the cold water pressure for the shower mixer,may be I don't need one at this time as indubitably i will need a pressure reducing valve

I've a Screwfix one too and it's fine. You can also attach it to an outside tap if you can't be bothered to move the washing machine.

yes screw fix for me as well,i take it your showers blown up and you want to see if your pressures to high?

he is fitting a new shower mixer gas man and is looking at fitting a pump on the cylinder but only has mains on the cold side. Advised pressure reducing valve. See his other post 🙂
