so am I right in thinking that to register under the latest scheme to extract money, I have to be a member of ciphe or the like to allow free entry into the water safe scheme. So that my paid for and seemingly sensible WRAS qualification is to be null and void in order that the country now will have proper plumbers who are tried and tested!! However it will not be illegal to plumb outside the scheme, but it will be better for the ones that can to join this new scheme such that we will be more easily prosecuted for making any mistakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when will our goverment get something right for once, starting by banning the sale of goods related to oil , gas and solid fuel to any old bod! then think about the plumbing side!!!!!!!!!!! worlds going mad still............

What makes you think you need to register? You and your customer base are already aware of your abilities, they don't need convincing and let's be honest it won't get you any more business . Just another scheme to milk the (gullible) self employed out of there hard earned cash.

Your WRAS won't be 'null and void', you need that to get on the WaterSafe register.

If your a WIAP you don't need to be a member of any organisation to join water safe.
