Reviewing the Valliant ecoTEC install manual, and steps noted in this book for re-pressurising the internal expansion vessel states the following
- Ensure the boiler CH service valves are closed.
- Release the pressure from the boiler.
- Remove the valve cap from the expansion vessel charge point.
- Check that the internal charge pressure of the expansion vessel is between 0.75 and 0.9 bar (if the pressure is lower than this the vessel should be re-pressurised using an air pump
- Refit the valve cap
- Re-pressure boiler and heating system
what is meant by the 'CH (Central Heating) service valves' - would they by many on a system or just one place to go? is it boiler specific?
thanks
