what pressure and for how long should you test copper pipework for?

With water il be testing the heating and cold water seperatly

8 bar should be fine and you shouldn't test with air above 0.5 of a bar

and time wise 30mins - 2 days or when ever your ready

1&1/2 times working pressure one hour
Or if its on a site they'll have a set pressure around 10bar

Will be copper pipework was thinking about 7 or 8 bar for the hot and cold and 5 for the heating. Sound ok?

I just did copper piping for my whole house and tested heating and cold at 6 bars..
