Hi Guys n gals.

I was chatting to a few other plumbers in the merchants the other day and they were all going on about work situations before the recession kicked in, i didnt start up on my own until about a week before the recession started (really smart move lol) so i dont know what it was like before hand, just wondered what your work load was like before the economical climate went frosty cold?

one guy was saying the year before it started he was always booked up about 8 months in advance and now hes about a week in advance if hes lucky.

any one have a similar story?

🙂

on the plus side, if youve started in this climate and can keep your head above water, then when this mess is all over, you should be in good stead to make millions !!

dpends if he was in new builds or home improvments

weve had a 3 month buffer all the way through and could of gone further but for the fact we refuse jobs or give ridiculous qoutes to get work in over a weekend (heating job) some are accepted some arent - the joys of being busy and not having to worry about pricing jobs lol
